EARLY TIMES
Early Times came into being in 1860, at Early Times Station, Kentucky. Kentucky water is perfect for making whiskey because it is naturally filtered through limestone springs which makes it rich in minerals that add flavour and help with fermentation.
Early Times began to prosper in 1920 when Prohibition began and it was designated a "medicinal whiskey", making it exempt from the law. Early Times is such an integral part of life in Kentucky that the Early Times Mint Julep is the official drink of the Kentucky Derby, with more than 90,000 Early Times Mint Juleps enjoyed over the week.
